Burnishers are dental instruments commonly used to ensure that amalgam restorations are smooth and free of irregularities. The working end of a burnisher is smooth and rounded. Orange Instruments burnishers come in a wide selection of shapes and sizes. All burnishers are made from high-carbon stainless steel. The tips are then hardened and hand-polished to achieve smooth, scratch-resistant surfaces that produce smooth and accurate restorations every time. Burnishers have unique, large diameter light weight handle for maximum comfort, reduced hand fatigue and increased control.
